Shooting Stars ‘ll Rise Again, Oke, Busari Assure Fans
Oyo State Commissioner for Sports, Barrister Abayomi Oke and the Executive Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club, Mr Gbolagade Busari have assured the darling fans of the Oluyole Warriors that the club will bounce back from the unfortunate demotion, as they walk towards creating better future for the club.
The Ibadan-based club was relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in the recently concluded season, and it is expected to feature in the Nigeria National League (NNL) in the upcoming season.
Reacting through the club’s official twitter handle, the two stakeholders of the club gave word of assurance telling their teeming fans to keep believing in the resurgence of the team.
“Oke, Busari say club will rise strongly from current demotion.”It’s unfortunate, but we’ll make it up by creating better future for the club,” the statement reads on twitter.
Shooting Stars finished in distance 17th position in the NPFL last season with 50 points from 38 games after which the club was relegated.
