AFCON: Oliseh Wary Of Salah’s Threat Ahead Of Eagles, Pharaohs Clash
Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh has identified AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah as Egypt ‘s biggest threat ahead of his team’s AFCON (African Cup of Nations) qualifying clash with Hector Cuper’s men.
Oliseh made the revelation after watching match tapes of the Egyptian national team. He said: “I have watched some tapes of Egypt. They are a result-oriented team who foul a lot in defence and midfield and depend on the speed of (Mohamed) Salah. “But we’re Nigeria, we’re playing at home and we have our own stars.” he further added.
Egypt lead the AFCON qualifying group with six maximum points from two games ahead of Nigeria (4 points) with only the group winners guaranteed automatic qualification to the 2017 of the AFCON tournament in Gabon.
