German Club Hoffenheim Appoint 28-year-Old Manager

German Club TSG Hoffenheim have appointed 28-year old Julian Nagelsmann, who is the side’s Under-19s coach, as manager for next season thus becoming the youngest ever Bundesliga head coach when he takes charge.
Former VFB Stuttgart boss Huub Stevens would take temporary charge of the team until the end of the current season after Markus Gisdol was dismissed from his job on Monday.
Speaking on Nagelsmann’s appointment, club director Alexander Rosen said: “This is a courageous step but we see in Nagelsmann such a huge coaching talent that we want to give him a chance.”
Julian Nagelsmann will remain U19s coach till the summer and has been given a three-year deal though he is still studying for his senior coaching license.
