Ex-Flying Eagles Star Alfa Quits Latvian Club, Hopes For Italy Move
Former Flying Eagles midfielder, Abdullahi Alfa has spoken about his plans to seal a move to Italy after quitting his Latvian club FK Ventspils.
In a chat with reporters on his plans, Abdullahi Alfa said: “I hope to move to Italy as I plan to quit Ventspils. Latvia is too cold for me,” The Niger-State born midfielder stated as he failed to make much impact with the club because of the situation.
Alfa, 20, joined the Latvian club in the summer as a free agent and went on to make19 appearances scoring one goal as Ventspils finished third in the outgoing year. He has played for both Golden Eagles and Flying Eagles teams respectively.
