Eagles Feel Krasnodar Stadium Ahead Of Argentina Friendly On Tuesday

Nigeria’s Super Eagles continue in their preparation as they resumed full training session on Monday at the Krasnodar Stadium (venue of the game) in Russia ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly against former world champions Argentina.
The team arrived Russia late on Saturday following their departure from Algeria after playing 1-1 draw with the Fennecs in their last Group B game on Friday. The Gernot Rohr tutored side has been in high spirit since arriving the cold region side for the friendly game against the South America giants.
The information and pictures of their training for the game was made known to the public via the team’s official twitter handle @NGSuperEagles. “Training session in progress at Krasnodar stadium, Russia ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly against Argentina
# SoarSuperEagles,” the statement reads on twitter.
Nigeria is yet to defeat the two-time World Cup winner since the two sides first met in a competitive game in USA ’94. The new look Super Eagles team is looking good to make history as they confront the La Albiceleste of Argentina in a friendly affair on Tuesday in Russia.
Meanwhile, new-boy and Russia-born Bryan Idowu, was part of the team’s pre match press conference at the Krasnodar Stadium, alongside coach Gernot Rohr and captain John Mikel Obi.
