Relegation Troubled Heartland Order Coach Madu To Step Aside
Management of Heartland FC have indefinitely suspended head coach, Ramson Madu over poor results in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, SR Sports can confirm.
In a released signed by club’s media director, Henry Echefu on Friday, the Naze millionaires under the leadership of Goodfaith Chibuzor Etuemena directed the technical crew of the team to temporarily step aside.
In the place of Madu’s led crew, the management has also directed that Coach Eziekel Onyegbule should take charge of the team and will be assisted by Coach Isaac Mbaegbu who is recently in the club’s youth team (the team B.). The decision takes place with immediate effect.
The Coach Eziekel’s led crew will be in Charge of the team in it’s Matchday 15 home game against visiting Nasarawa United this Sunday at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri. Coach Onyegbule is a CAF License B Coach with years of experience.
Heartland lost their last game 2-1 to Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Wednesday. The Naze millionaires currently battle relegation in 19th position with 13 points from 13 round of matches played so far in the league.
