Rafael Nadal Clinches 11th Roland Garros Title With Win Over Thiem
Tennis world number one, Rafael Nadal played to victory as he defeated Dominic Thiem to claim his 11th French Open title.
Nadal showed his experience and energy as he won 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 to claim another Grand Slam.
The victory brought Nadal’s grand slams title to 17, just three behind a veteran player, Roger Federer.

Speaking after the game, Nadal described the victory as amazing.
He said, “It’s amazing, I can’t describe my feelings because it’s not even a dream to win here 11 times. It’s impossible to think something like this.”
After securing a back-to-back victory at the French Open, Nadal would be seeking to add more grand slam titles to his name.
Earlier in the female category of the competition, Simona Halep defeated Sloane Stephens to win her first major grand slam title after three tries.
