PSG Clinch 4th Successive Ligue 1 Title With  9-0 Record Win

. Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored four second-half goals as PSG clinched fourth Successive Ligue 1 Title

French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have clinched their 4th successive league title with two months of the season to spare following a record 9-0 away win over lowly Troyes, with eight games left in the season.

Edinson Cavani, Javier Pastore and Adrien Rabiot put PSG 3-0 up inside 19 minutes before Swedish star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a quick-fire second half hat-trick in 10 minutes. Matthieu Saunier scored an own goal‎ and Cavani completed his brace to make it 8-0 shortly after Loosemy Karaboue’s red card before Ibrahimovic added his 4th to make it a comprehensive 9-0 rout.

Ibrahimovic leads the scoring charts with 27 league goals and is on track to beat his career best tally of 30 — set three seasons ago with PSG. He is PSG’s all-time leading scorer with 141 goals, including 102 in the league in just 115 games. Monaco drew 2-2 at home to Reims on Friday night to hand the initiative to PSG, and it did not take long to put matters beyond doubt with three goals inside the first 20 minutes.

PSG win their league title in style with the ‎biggest win in the history of the competition and with just one loss (a 2-1 defeat at Lyon) in 30 games with a goal difference of +62 having conceded just 15 goals.
