Nigeria’s D’Tigers Drop Six Places In Latest FIBA World Ranking
National senior men’s basketball team, D’Tigers dropped six places from the previous 26th to 32nd spot in the latest FIBA World Ranking released on Tuesday.
D’Tigers amassed 211.4 points, but was able to retain their position as the best team in Africa.Angola maintained the second position, Senegal moved to third position with 178.2 points.
Reigning African champions, Tunisian are in fourth position with 125.1 points while, Egypt occupy fifth position according to the latest ranking.
Other countries in the Africa’s top 10 include, Cote d’Ivoire in sixth position, Morocco in seventh spot, Cameroon occupy eighth position, Mali in the ninth position, while Central African Republic completed the top 10th spot on the continent.
Meanwhile, D’Tigers finished the 2017 FIBA AfroBasket championship as runner-up losing to Tunisia in the final.
