England

John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses (Chelsea), Kelechi Iheanacho (Man City) Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel Obi was an unused substitute for Chelsea in their 3-0 embarrassing defeat at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Victor Moses was not listed by Jose Mourinho, while Nigeria’s superstar, Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute for Man City.

Odion Jude Ighalo (Watford), Brown Aide Ideye , Victor Anichebe (West Brown) Odion Ighalo was on for 90 minutes, but couldn’t find the net as Watford played out a scoreless draw with West Brom at the Vicarage Road on Saturday. Anichebe was an unused substitute for West Brom, while Ideye was not dressed for the encounter.

Peter Osaze Odemwingie (Stoke City) Hamstring injury stopped Osaze from making Tottenham trip on Saturday. But in his absence, Stoke played a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at White Lane.

Sammy Ameobi (Cardiff City) Sammy came on in the 82nd minute for Cardiff, but couldn’t make impact as the game ended 2-2 away to Queens Park Rangers in the English Championship clash decided on Saturday.

Kelvin Etuhu (Bury) Kelvin was 71st minute substitute for Bury in their 2-2 draw with Swindon Town. Another Nigeria-born striker, Jonathan Obika featured 49 minutes for Swindon Town.

Germany

Anthony Ujah (Werder Bremen) Anthony Ujah was on for 90 minutes, but failed to salvage points for Bremen, as they suffered shocking 0-3 to Schalke. Nigeria-born German defender, Dennis Aogo was also on for 90 minutes in the colours of Schalke.

Leon Balogun (Mainz) Nigerian defender, Leon Balogun came on in the 85th minute for Mainz in their 0-1 home loss to Ingolstadt on Saturday.

Seyi Olajengbesi (Sandhausen) Forgotten Nigerian defender, Seyi Olajengbesi was missing in action for Sandhausen in their 6-0 away victory against Paderborn, in the German Bundesliga 2 clash last Friday.

Turkey

Raheem Lawal (Eskisehirspor) Raheem Lawal was in action full 90-minutes for Eskisehirspor in their 2-0 loss to Turkish giant Fenerbahce over the weekend.

Michael Eneramo (Sivasspor) Nigerian bulky striker, Michael Eneramo was conspicuously missing in Sivasspor’s line-up in their 2-2 draw withGalatasaray in the Turkish Supe(r Lig season opener.

Keneth Omeruo (Kasimpasa), John Chibuike (Gazizntepspor) Both Omeruo and Chibuike picked the starting shirt, as Kasimpasa defeated Gaziantepspor 3-0 away from home on Sunday.

Belgium

Joseph Akpala (KV Oostende), Imoh Ezekiel (Anderlecht) Forgotten Nigerian striker, Joseph Akpala came on as 87th minute substitute for Oostende in their 3-1 loss to Anderlecht, but later made way for Congo DR attacker, Aaron Iseka in the  79th minute.

Onyinye Ndidi (Genk) New kid on the bloc, Onyinye Ndidi was an unused substitute for Genk in their 2-1 loss to Westerlo on Saturday.

Scotland

Efe Ambrose (Celtic) Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose was conspicuously missing in Celtic’s line-up in their 4-2 win against Inverness.

Juwon Oshaniwa (Heart) Oshaniwa stood in Heart’s defense for 90 minutes, as they defeated Ross County in the Scottish Premier League.

Japan

Peter Utaka (Shimizu Pulse) Peter Utaka played 90 minutes football for Shimizu Pulse .The Nigerian striker has scored nine goals in his 19 appearances so far in their 1-1 draw with Albirex Niigata in the Japanese J-League on Sunday in the on-going season.

Russia

Ahmed Musa (CSKA) Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa hit target for his club, CSKA Moscow in their 2-0 win against Spartak Moscow.

Fengor Ogude, Izunna Uzochukwu (Amkar), Lukman Haruna (Anzhi) Fengor Ogude was in action for the entire duration for Amkar in their 1-1 draw with Anzhi. Lukman Haruna was not listed by Anzhi, while Izunna was an unused substitute for Amkar.

Czech Republic

Kehinde Fatai (Sparta Praha) Former Flying Eagles forward, Kehinde Fatai came on in the 46th minute for Sparta Braha in their 4-2 away victory at Mlada Boleslavin in the Czech Liga decided over the weekend.

Alhaji Gero (Viborg) Former Flying Eagles striker, Alhaji Gero came on in the 76th minute for Viborg in their 0-4 h0meloss to Brondby in the Danish Superliga tie on Sunday.

Rasheed Olabiyi (Houston Dynamo) New Houston Dynamo signing, Rasheed Olabiyi was an unused substitute for The Orange Crush in their 2-0 loss to New England in the Major League Soccer (MLS) 2015 season.

France

Vincent Enyeama (Lille) Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper,  Vincent Enyeama was in goal all 90-minutes for Lille in their scoreless draw with AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1 over the weekend. While Super Eagles left-back, Elderson Echiejile was not listed by Monaco.

Portugal

Reuben Gabriel, Michael Uchebo (Boavista) Both Reuben Gabriel and Michael Uchebo picked the starting shirt for Boavista in their 2-2 draw with Vitoria Setubal. Reuben Gabriel left the pitch quite early due to injury in the 30th minute.

Olanrewaju Kayode (Austria Wien) Former youth international, Olanrewaju Kayode scored a brace for his club, Austria Wien in their 5-1 demolition of Mattersburg on Saturday. He was on for 90 minutes.

Bright Edomwonyi (Stum Graz) Striker Bright Edomwonyi came on for Graz in the 74th minute in their 2-2 draw with Rapid Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga season on Sunday.
