Bright Dike Strikes First Amkar Goal In Friendly
Nigerian striker, Bright Dike scored the only goal for FC Amkar Perm in their 1-0 victory against FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk in Friendly on Monday.
The new Amkar signing registered his goal in the 35th minute for The Red and Blacks, which was good enough to secure victory for the Russian club against the Belarusian side. The 29-year-old striker has played for clubs like Portland Timbers, Los Angeles Blues, Toronto FC and San Antonio Scorpions, before joining the Russian club on February 20, 2016, as a free agent.
Meanwhile, Bright is the elder brother of Super Falcons striker, Courtney Dike and cousin to West Ham striker Emmanuel Emenike. He signed an 18-month contract with Amkar. The contracts expires August 2017.
