BREAKING: Iwobi, Aina, Troost-Ekong, 3 Others Hit Eagles Camp In Poland Ahead Friday’s Int’l Friendly
Super Eagles camp in Poland came alive on Monday with the arrival of Arsenal star, Alex Iwobi, England-based Ola Aina, Tyronne Ebuehi, FC Amkar Perm defender, Brian Idowu and Germany based Leon Balogun, among the players currently in camp ahead of Friday’s international friendly against the Polish senior national team billed for the Municipal Stadium, Wroclaw, Poland.
The statement was released on Monday via the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) official twitter handle, as players started trooping in from their various base in Europe, put themselves in right frame of mind for the coach selection.
“Our camp ahead of Friday’s pre-World Cup friendly vs Poland at the Municipal Stadium, Wroclaw, Poland opened today. Troost Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Tyronne Ebuehi, Brian Idowu and Leon Balogun were the early ‘eagles’, ” the statements reads on twitter.
More players from the 28-invited squad are expected to hit the team’s camp in Poland. Nigeria will face Poland in Wroclaw on Friday and also travel to The Hive in London to confront the Serbian senior national team in another pre-world cup international friendly next Tuesday.
