Ambassador Oguntuase Pays Eagles’ Visit In Cotonou Ahead Of CHAN Qualifier Against Benin Republic
Nigeria’s ambassador to Benin Republic, Amb. Kayode Oguntuase visited Nigeria’s Super Eagles Team B in their hotel on Friday night ahead of Sunday’s 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) first leg of the second round qualifier against the Squirrels of Benin Republic in Cotonou.
The details of his visit was disclosed via Super Eagles official twitter handle, as he lifted the team’s spirit to go for victory in the game. “The Nigerian Ambassador to Benin Republic, Amb. Kayode Oguntuase paid a morale boosting visit to the team last night,” the statement reads on twitter.
Nigeria arrived Cotonou early Friday for the crucial qualifier and later had a feel of the stadium later in the evening, in preparation for the game. The first leg will hold on Sunday August 13 in Cotonou while the second leg will be played at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano a week later.
