Ahead 2018 CHAN: Super Eagles Face Cameroon In Practice Match Today

Nigeria’s Super Eagles Team B are set to face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a practice match ahead of their opening game against Rwanda in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) holding in Morocco.

According to statement released on the team’s official twitter handle, the Nigerian side are using the game as preparation for the competition. “@NGSuperEagles will play a practice game later tonight at 7pm vs Cameroon at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat,” the statement reads on twitter.

The Salisu Yusuf tutored side are expected to move from Rabat to Tangier, Morocco where the team face the likes of Rwanda, Libya and Equatorial Guinea in Group C. The Nigerian team failed to make it beyond the group stage in the last edition held in Rwanda.

Cameroon is also competing in Group D alongside Angola, Burkina Faso and Congo. Meanwhile, Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr is expected to join the team’s camp in Morocco for their first game against Rwanda on Monday.
